Northbrook College is one of the largest educational establishments in Sussex. Northbrook has two campuses in Worthing and a campus at Shoreham Airport.
The College offers a wide range of full and part time courses from basic skills to degrees. Qualifications include trade and professional qualifications as well as pre-university diplomas and university degrees.
Following the work we had done on Enterprise Week in conjunction with Worthing & Adur Chamber, Northbrook invited us to design and develop promotional material to promote Apprentices to business.
The aim was to impress on companies the benefits and flexibility that an Apprentice can bring to a business using a double sided A4 information leaflet. We developed the concept of a ‘plastic kit’ as a visual hook for the key message “Built just the way you like it”. We displayed all the facts supporting our case in a clear diagrammatic way on the reverse of the leaflet. The same concept will be adapted to other areas of promotion for the College.
As Northbrook College has lots of service areas we needed to be specific and ensure that we targeted the audience as something that was not just a business area but a ‘Specialist’ in Apprenticeship delivery. So we developed a sub-brand based on the existing brand style. In this way the college can highlight their specialism directly to business using the sub-brand as a flag to the service. This coupled with the strong visual concept made a powerful promotional piece.
We also developed the strapline for campaign “Working for you” to be used across all sub brand business areas.
Digital Enterprise Week
Enterprise Week goes digital. A year after we branded the original Enterprise Week, the 2015 focus was on digital. Students and businesses rely so much on digital services so Northbrook College decided to dedicate the week to it.
We were asked to brand and provide a press Ad for the local Herald newspaper. For continuity we remodelled the previous years style to take on a completely different look for Digital Enterprise using new colours and graphics.
