Not alone in the marketplace, Jar Lights had to create it’s own style and brand stance. Following research we decided to position the product range as a ‘lifestyle designer’ brand. This decision was backed up the products flexibility and the website that would have options for the consumer to effectively design their own light products by selecting each component.
The chosen logo with a chunky font and simple moon shaped arc as the dot over the ‘J’ to reflect the nature of the product, providing light when it gets dark. The brand uses a flexible colour palette of five core colours plus a default brand style of dark grey and golden yellow. This colour scheme is carried across the packaging and e-commerce website.
